FUN FINDINGS! *VIDEO*

Hello everyone, I've got a fun collection of ideas for you today, using some finds I found on Amazon.  We have been away on a holiday, came home and were completely jet lagged, and then of course, got sick.  So I apologize for the rather sparse collection today, but here are my completed projects.

Paper Rose Studio supplies: Portraits in Bloom 6x6 Paper Collection 36556Portraits in Bloom 6 x 8" Cut Aparts 36583Wedding Blooms Border Metal Cutting Die 31602Amaya Butterfly Metal Cutting Die 19157

Amazon supplies: 100 Pcs Stainless Steel Earring Making Kit, includes 50 Pcs 12mm Earring Blanks with Hooks and 50 Pcs Clear Glass Cabochons 5 Sheets 8.25x11.7 Inches Stars Holographic Premium Cold Laminated Film Glitter Holographic Overlay

I know its hard to see the overlay film that I've used on the butterflies as my camera just would not pick up the shine and stars.  But you can easily see it in real life and in the video. I think it's a really fun way to add some sparkle to background papers or die cuts as I've done here with the butterflies.

And how about those home made earrings?!  What a great way to use up those scraps we all treasure!  And you can include a coordinating gift with each card you make.  I hope you will come join me for the video to see how these were made.  You can find the video HERE.

Thank you all for stopping by and I hope you will give these ideas a try!

Masculine Cards and a Fun Fold *VIDEO*

Hello again everyone, I've got a few of those pesky masculine cards to share today.  I've used one of my most favourite collections, Seaside Memories from Paper Rose Studio.  And I pushed myself to use some of the tags and tickets from the collection since I'm terrible at using these!

So as you can see, there is a fun fold card in there as well as the tags and ticket cards.  I've got a video up for you so you can see how easy these are to make, and there is a template in the description box below the video for you.   To watch the video, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Inside Pop Up *VIDEO*

Welcome back everyone!  I've got a fun inside pop up card to share today and it's a great way to use up some of those white scraps of cardstock that we all have.

So as you can see, you can choose to either have the pop up oriented vertically or horizontally.  It's a great way to use some of those embossed die cut images or extra sentiments you may already have in your stash.  The mechanism itself is quite simple, just some scoring and folding.  I hope you will come JOIN ME HERE to watch the video and see how these are made.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Acetate Front Cards. *VIDEO*

Hello again everyone, I've got a super fun card to share today.  I've made this style of card before so you may already be familiar with it, but I haven't made one in ages and I really love the dimension you can achieve with it.

Paper Rose Studio supplies: Petals & Pansies Basics 6x6 Paper Collection 36400Petals & Pansies 6 x 8" Cut Aparts 36394.  From the Paper Rose US site: Elegant Flourish Small Metal Cutting Die 16617Large Layered Script Happy Birthday Metal Cutting Die 32508

Both my cards are 6 x 6" as I used one of the patterned papers in the 6 x 6 collection for the background.  However, you can adjust the size to suit whatever background you have and I've tried to explain that in the video. The photographs really cannot show all the dimension, so I hope you'll join me at the video to see these in action.  To watch the video PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Great big thanks for stopping by today and I hope you're having a happy, creative day!

Easy, Interactive Cards *VIDEO*

Hello everyone, I've got some ideas today for making interactive cards.  I've used the new Primrose Garden collection for these cards, but you can so easily use any collection you already have in your stash.  My posting dates for Paper Rose Studio were for after Easter, so I've tried to create cards that are not Easter themed, although this is a great collection for Easter!

The first card is both a shaker in the center, and has a spinning outer circle covered with the die cuts.  The second card has a small pocket on the inside with a pull out element.  If you would like to see how these cards were made, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Hexagonal Dimension Cards. *VIDEO*

Hi everyone, I've got such a fun card fold to share with you today.  It's a hexagonal card that folds completely flat for mailing, but automatically pops open into a very dimensional card when taken out of the envelope.

I've used acetate for each of these cards, and I would definitely recommend using a thicker acetate for these if you choose to do the same.  However, you can just as easily make the horizontal bands from cardstock or a thicker patterned paper.  All of these cards are in a 5 x 7" format, but again, you can easily adjust that to suit whatever papers and dies you are using.  You just want to aim to have roughly even 1/3 sections that correspond on the card base and on the horizontal bands.  On my cards, the middle section is slightly wider than the outer edge sections.  If you would like to join me to watch the video, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a happy, creative day!

Use Your Scraps to Add Inside Interest! *VIDEO*

Hello everyone!  I've got a fun Valentine's Day card to share, but it could be used for any occasion.  It's a great way to use up some of your scraps, either white or coloured cardstock scraps, or even patterned paper scraps.  And it's easy to do!

So as you can see, I've kept the front of the card quite simple as this card is likely going to be displayed open.  There is a bit of bulk to the card, so it's the kind of card that is best suited to being handed over to the recipient.   But wouldn't it be fun with birthday balloons, cake and presents? It's a great way to use some of those beautiful die cut images that Paper Rose has.  I hope you will come join me for the video to see how it's made.  To watch the video, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you're having a great day!

Rainbow Fun! *VIDEO*

Hello again everyone - I hope you all had a very happy Christmas.  I've got 3 card styles to share with you today, ranging from very quick and easy to slightly more complex.  I've used Paper Rose Studio's Rainbow Village collection for these and I think you're going to love this collection!  It's super bright and whimsical.

Paper Rose Studio supplies used:  Rainbow Village Basics 12x12 Paper Collection 35322Rainbow Village 12x12 Paper Collection 35487Rainbow Village 6x8" Quick Card Collection 35352Rainbow Village 6x8" Embossed Die Cuts 35343Rainbow Village Cut Aparts 35346Rainbow Wood 6x6 Paper Collection 31040Window With Bricks Metal Cutting Die 22501

So as you can see, the first card is very simple and quick to make.  The second card is a swing fold card, and I love that the front and back of the circle can have completely different images.  The third card is a Bay window style card, and I've got some of the birds from the collection peeking in the window.

I have all the measurements and instructions in my video, so I hope you will come join me there.  To see the video, PLEASE CLICK HERE.
