Hello everyone, I've been playing with some border dies and trying to find more ways to use them. I love to feel I've got my money's worth out of my card making supplies, and dies are some of the most expensive things we own. I've used my dies in several different ways on this card, and I'm hoping it will inspire you to look at your own dies (especially coverplate and border dies) to see if you can put them to more use.
Paper Rose Studio Supplies: Diagonal Stripe Border Die 28390, Wedding Blooms Border Metal Cutting Die 31602, Thanks Border Word Metal Cutting Die 31950, Etched Blooms 4 Metal Cutting Die 28939, Little Foliage 1 Metal Cutting Die 21099, Rainbow Twirl 2.0 12x12 Paper Collection 31046
So I've created stencils out of the two border dies and used Versamark Ink and some mica powder to add colour and a lot of shine. The stencils were applied to both the front of my card (Wedding Blooms Border die), and also to the inside of my card (Diagonal Stripe border die). I also die cut an extra border with the Diagonal Stripe die to apply over the front of my card. You can see how this card came together in a short video, if you CLICK HERE.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope I've given you a little inspiration today!
