Thinking of You Card

Hello everyone, I've got a little "thinking of you" card to share today.

Inside of card

Supplies Used: Garden of Hope 12x12 Paper Collection 29443, Tree of Love Metal Cutting Die 28825, Farm Gate Metal Cutting Die 22771, Wonky Picket Fence Metal Cutting Die 22762, All Occasions Sentiments A5 12pc Sentiment Sheets 22339, Frankie the Fox Clear Stamp 26131.

To start this card, I did a little ink blending on the card front with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and Cosmic Shimmer Colour Cloud ink in Clear Day.  I die cut the fence, tree and the gate from white cardstock and used Copic markers to colour in the tree.  I die cut three layers of the gate from white cardstock, and made sure I kept one set of the inset pieces of the gate safely.  I glued the three layers of the gate together and did a little shading on the inset pieces with a C0 copic marker.

I used my Prismacolour pencil crayons to colour in Frankie the fox and added a few whiskers with a black multiliner pen.

Next, I glued the tree in place on the card front and added the leaves.  Then I glued the fence portion on the left and the gate just to the right of it.  I cut the tail piece off Frankie and attached this to the back of the gate before gluing it down.  Then I paper pieced in the saved inset pieces of the gate.  Finally, I added foam tape to the back of Frankie's head and attached him to the front of the gate.  There was a tiny space to the right of the gate so I just added in the one fence post.

I fussy cut the flower border from one of the Garden of Hope papers, and added it to the front of the card on either side of the gate, and then added the leftover piece to the inside.  Finally, I added the sentiment onto the gate.

Thank you for stopping by, and I do hope you're having a great day!

I love how each fold of this card reveals just a little more of the inside.  Here's a look at the second card which is a full size double slider card.

Supplies Used: Garden of Hope 12x12 Paper Collection 29443, Cake Time Die Cuts 29590, Big Sentiments 1.0 A5 12pc Sentiment Sheets 22336, Floral Borders 6x6" Stencil 19342, Black & White A5 12pc Sentiment Sheets 19023. Also Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone.

So with this card, when you pull the two slider elements out, all the cakes, chocolates and flowers are revealed. The card is around 13" when fully extended, so there's lots of room to add some fun surprises on there!

I hope you'll come join me for the video which shows how each of these two cards are created.  Please CLICK HERE to watch that video.  If you are interested in making the full size double slider card, I have just previously created a video tutorial of it with my template in the video.  You can watch that video HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you're having a fun, creative day!
