Hi everyone, I've got such a fun card fold to share with you today. It's a hexagonal card that folds completely flat for mailing, but automatically pops open into a very dimensional card when taken out of the envelope.

I've used acetate for each of these cards, and I would definitely recommend using a thicker acetate for these if you choose to do the same. However, you can just as easily make the horizontal bands from cardstock or a thicker patterned paper. All of these cards are in a 5 x 7" format, but again, you can easily adjust that to suit whatever papers and dies you are using. You just want to aim to have roughly even 1/3 sections that correspond on the card base and on the horizontal bands. On my cards, the middle section is slightly wider than the outer edge sections.
